We did not like this hotel at all! We chose it because it is located halfway between two cities we stopped at during our driving vacation. The area it is in did not feel very safe. And it did not look very clean.I requested a quiet room. But the check-in staff explained that: when you book with Ctrip they will automatically assign you the worst and noisiest room. I asked to change the room. They said it cannot be changed. The entire night there were sounds of people walking loudly over our room and things thudding above us. The bed frame was even shaking from it sometimes. We could hardly sleep all night. It ruined one entire day of our vacation :(

Overall, our brief stay was nice. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable with clean linens, and the blackout curtains were a plus for sleeping in. As we arrived late and were only staying one night we did not take advantage of the pool, breakfast or several other amenities. Upon initial arrival in our room the sleeping area appeared to be clean, however, we noticed an odor in the bathroom. Being so late and exhausted, we closed the bath door and discovered the following morning there was a puddle of animal urine under the bathroom vanity that had not been cleaned up. It made me wonder about the rest of the room. As we did not have a pet with us, we reported this to a housekeeping member and the front desk. Our other issue was with the direct hotel reservation phone number. Being a Choice Hotel member, I had found a lower price on a third party site and called directly to the hotel to see if they would match the price. I thought I was speaking to a front desk representative who refused to match the price. I also brought this to the attention of the morning front desk person who had no knowledge of the person I spoke with. I'm disappointed with the housekeeping and reservation service but the hotel itself is acceptable to stay in.

The place was really cozy and smelled nicelike Fall when we got in, but the reason I wanted to write a thing is that all of the staff was really nice. The front desk ladies, the cleaning woman, even the kitchen staff was very naturally nice and me and my friend that drove through were really happy we stopped here. It was a good enough experience that I would make this a permanent planned place to stay the night when traveling through this corridor of I95 in the future.

While the room itself was ok, it was totally unacceptable for the windows to have sheer curtains in the center which do not block the light from surrounding parking lots. I asked management about this and learned that all the rooms are this way. The sides have light blocking curtains which only extend a short way and then very sheer curtains for 80 percent of the window. So, you can't sleep properly with outside light pouring in. Also, you have to go into the bathroom to change. And what about the poor guest who wants to sleep during the day? I looked at the reviews and I wasn't the only person unhappy with this inconsiderate feature. This hotel paid someone for this terrible window treatment design. We stayed one night and want to warn others before they decide to stay here.

First I'll add the bad ( that really wasn't that bad). We like leaving super early and knew there was a fitness center. I checked it out as soon as we got in and it had a limit of 2 people in the room at a time and it wasn't open 24 hours. It opened at 7 which was late for me to use. Next time I'll be more aware of the hours of any place we stay regarding fitness center. The hotel had many families staying that were a part of a baseball tournaments somewhere in the area. On our floor the doors to their rooms were CONSTANTLY slammed. WHY? This went on until after 12 AM. The hotel can not control rude people, just next time will call and ask if any teams will be staying at the same time we visit The good- the room was clean. The Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING. The lovely lady got the breakfast ready early. It was Sunday and it wasn't suppose to open till 7- it opened at 6. I'm a NY girl and I DO NOT like grits. Had them a few times and yuck. I was so tired from the door slamming keeping me awake that I saw something that looked scrambled eggs. Not reading what it was I took a spoonful. I said to hubby these eggs are pretty good- he looked at me and said those are grits- LOL. I told the lady who prepared the breakfast how much I enjoyed them.

The AC could barely keep the room cool even set at 68 degrees. Internet was not very good. Breakfast good with a few additional items beyond the basics. Very clean. Nice shower. 25 dollars a night pet fee. assigned a pet room which was ok. Stayed here many times before very expensive over the weekend.

My son and his baseball stayed there this past weekend and all the kids ended up very sick from the pool and it's chemicals. My son ended up in the hospital. The pool is currently shut down and the health department is investigating it and has confirmed it's chemicals are not right. The front desk was very rude about handling the situation. Wouldn't recommend unless you want to end up in the hospital.

We stopped here overnight while traveling from FL to CT. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable hotel, this is the place. The beds are very comfortable, the staff is great and the breakfast is good! Thank you, Beth Rose, for taking care of us during our stay. This will definitely be our chosen place to stay for our future travels.
